Alumni weekend will kick off with the 2010 Northside and Hamilton Alumni Basketball Classic scheduled for Saturday, October 2, 2010 at Northside High School. Tip off time will be 2:00 pm. Admission is $5.00. Download Flyer

Get ready “Cougars” for the game of the year. Come see high school alumni basketball at its best at the 2010 Northside and Hamilton Alumni Basketball Classic. See heart stopping exciting basketball as the Hamilton alumni wildcats try to redeem themselves from last year’s lost. The wildcats have been practicing really hard all year. They said there will be no more 2 point lost at the buzzer this year (109 - 107 score). If you missed last year’s game, then you don’t want to miss this year’s game.

Any Northside alumni men wishing to play in the game need to contact Sherri Walker at (901) 218-5478 as soon as possible.  Please don’t wait until the last minute to get on the roster. Opening spots are limited.

Northside Alumni weekend will wrap up on Sunday, October 3, 2010 with GospelFest at Ellis Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 3500 Macon Road, Memphis, TN  38112.  GospelFest will start at 3:00 pm with refreshments being served after the event. The event is free to the public. However, a collection will be taken up during the concert with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the Northside Alumni Scholarship fund.

Northside High School is creating an Alumni Achievers Wall of Fame to feature outstanding Northside alumnus. The goal of the project is to show students of Northside that great people have come out of Northside High School.
